DJs on YouTube
As a DJ in training, I enjoy coming across DJs whose playlists and style I resonate with. This recommendation via Matt Gottesman has been on repeat while I work (and write this!). Extra points for Greta for collaborating with ceramic artist, Saulė Dubenėly, to help set the scene. After clicking through other videos from Greta, it appears that this is a new thing for her, and I think she's on to something special with the collaborative set design direction.

Adaptive design for all
Okay, adaptive design is already for all who need it, but the category hasn't always considered people who are highly attuned to design aesthetics, or the fact that good aesthetics subconsciously influences everyone's wellbeing for the better, whether they notice or "care" at all. Now there's another option beyond the hospital and public-restroom metal grab bar: The Grab Bar Frame ...
"We’ve taken inspiration from the objects people naturally have in their homes—like picture frames and artwork—and reimagined the traditional grab bar to create something that seamlessly blends into your decor.
The result is a discreet, stylish support that offers up to 250 lbs of stability, perfect for adding comfort and elegance to your hallways, stairways, entryways, or anywhere you just need a helping hand. Selora is the perfect blend of form and function."
Yes. Yes. Yes.

Peel-off paint
Unpaint is a brand new product coming out of Colombia and its potential is promising. Think of all of the applications from dorm room to retail walls! I'm definitely intrigued but would need to see it in real life to really buy into it since not all surfaces are alike. I'd also like to hear more about the end-of-use/waste elements, but for now the chemical technology is cool to consider.

Friends with sweet stays
My friend, Napoleon Wright, and his family are saying "Mi casa es su casa!"
Their awesome beach house in Sisal, Mexico is now available for your own enjoyment. Explore the custom-built home and book it on Airbnb. Take a good siesta for me, will ya?

Out of this world marketing
Sometimes the go big or go home approach reeeaalllyyy works. In this case, a recent campaign by Samsonite that send their suitcase to space seemed to be just what the luggage company has been building up to since inception. Like, we're built for this.
If you're a nerd like me, you'll enjoy this article in Travel and Leisure Magazine on how the campaign came to be, and exploring the Sent Into Space website — the company that made the event possible.

Doing something uncomfortably delightful
Last month on a Wednesday morning, I left my house at 5:45am and headed to the beach for Salty Sips.
An early wake up and sunrise yoga? Not uncomfortable. Swimming in cold water just before 7am? Very uncomfortable. But the result of running into the ocean with several hundred strangers was actually very delightful. More than that actually, it felt euphoric. Highly recommend it solo or in a crowd.
