Screensaver spots

Some places feel unreal--the colors, the clarity, the energy. I call these places "screensaver spots" because they remind me of the high-definition Microsoft wallpaper from my teen years, and in general, screensavers of landscapes that look too good to be true.

We enjoyed such a spot on Granite Island in Victor Harbor, about one hour south of Adelaide. With expansive Southern Ocean views, gentle breezes, and plenty of granite rocks to perch on, we'll be back with a picnic in tow asap.
